Tuesday 5:30 Civic Center – Monthly Business Meeting – refreshments will be served.

We will have the monthly business meeting Tuesday Oct 14 at the Fayette Civic Center.

We have new members and new ideas for how to leverage our time and money to accomplish more for the pets at the Fayette County Animal Shelter and the County at

large.

Come and enjoy refreshments while we create an operational plan and assign team leaders to help us achieve that plan.

You can be assured that all of our plans are focused on:

1. Minimizing the population of the Shelter
2. Improve Shelter sanitation and conditions in the Shelter
3. Maximize adoption opportunities
4. Change the culture of insisting that pets be “intact” which results in a flood of unwanted puppies and kittens. To that end we will begin making grants and helping to organize the procedure to have pets “fixed”.
