Donation to FOTAS from Alabama One Credit Union..

We have a checking account at Alabama One Credit Union. They have offered free checking services and we have negotiated with Alabama One Credit Union and they have committed to make a $1000.00 donation to Fayette Friends of the Animal Shelter.
As a thank you to them, I would advise you that they have a 5.7% CD that is the highest I have seen anywhere. It is a 12 month contract and it is federally insured. (100% Safe). Supporting our generous donors is something we need to try to do and to thank their staff would be a nice gesture also. It would not be surprising , based on the slowing of inflation, that interest rates on CDs would begin to fall. This 5.7% won’t last probably. ….(Durell forgive me for making the announcement. It is your area, but I didn’t think you mind this one time.)
