Please join the Friends of the Animal Shelter for our business meeting. We will discuss activities that we have accomplished over the last month. We will welcome new members and discuss upcoming initiatives. There are many things to discuss but, as usual, we will strive to end the meeting on time at 6:30.
Our activities are not confined to Shelter tasks. We have many non-Shelter activities that you may enjoy.
We want to be the group that helps you give back to the Community. You will feel better about yourself and the improvements in quality of life for Shelter pets will make such a big difference!
Our upcoming projects include:
- Improved sanitation at the Shelter. Sanitation practices can greatly reduce the incidence of pet illness and that is a major priority.
- We also will begin to organize and promote spay and neuter events. Pet homelessness can never be conquered without fewer unwanted litters of puppies and kittens.
- We are still working toward having pets off-campus to be seen and adopted as well as having Saturday opening hours at the Shelter so more pets can be adopted.
