SATURDAY – Shelter Workday June 22

This is what we have been waiting for. We have arranged for the Animal Shelter to be open (using Shelter employees) to enable us to make pet adoptions possible on Saturdays.

We need everyone who has wanted to help but could not due to work obligations. (The J-O-B) Now we not only have county staff keeping the Shelter open for us to work, we are going to promote EVERYHERE that the Shelter will be open for adoptions SATURDAY June 22 8 AM – 2 PM.

There is a car show at the Multi Plex building just across the road and we think it will be especially helpful if some pets can be taken over there to be seen and adopted.

WE NEED THIS TO BE A SUCCESSFUL DAY. Come to work (wash dogs, supervise play time, train a dog to walk on a leash or pet some kittens) BUT don’t forget that we need members who will take a dog over the the County Multiplex.

When Vicki took Carl Jr. to the Music and Motors, it wasn’t even a hour before she had two families who wanted him. He was adopted that day and his owners are spoiling him.. (the last picture showed Carl Jr. on carpet, asleep with 8 toys surrounding him YEA!!
