 18 dogs
 2 cats & 2 kittens
Needs of Volunteers
 men needed to assist with lifting larger dogs
 photographer needed for quality pictures to post on PetFinder
Grant Proposal – Community Board meeting next week.
Fund Raising Idea – members agreed to partner with other local organizations (possibly
Fayette Garden Club, Magnolia Ranch) and propose a $20 donation to their
organization when a shelter pet is featured/adopted from their website/Facebook posts.

 Michelle Tingle (The Times Record) seeking help catching a momma cat and 2-3
kittens in culvert at Murphy’s Oil/Wal-Mart.
 a Thank You to Micheal Stoker, Fayette Co EMA Director will be posted on
FOTAS Facebook for his help mowing and cleaning at the Animal Shelter.
 Survey results from other shelters
-all other shelters open on Saturdays and identified that as busiest day
-all other shelters neuter upon leaving and give rabies shots; some give parvo
 Planning on a follow up meeting with Probate Judge. Will ask about insurance
specifically for pets being taken away from the shelter for events.
